At the beginning of spring break she planted seeds to start a garden with her homeschool co-op friends... (at the end of this post there will be a 2 week later garden update!)
We made an interactive kitchen wall vegan food pyramid (complete with interactive time clock) since her feeding therapist and nutritionist wanted her to learn about waiting to eat and not snacking the entire day. We decided to make this to encourage her to have more control and understanding over her eating instead of just controlling her more as they were saying which does not work with Glory.) and YAY Its helping !!
Co-op fun over the past weeks topic = Architecture and shapes in our world ...
week 2
6 flags opened !! Finally getting some sensory input relief and we have noticed HUGE improvements with meltdowns/anxiety and even eating. She hasn't gagged since 6 flags opened.
She has been learning so much from the 6 flags safari team ... even got a special peek at an orphan 10 week old baby black bear cub!
The bulk of this time has really been spent outdoors ... her monday co-op met outdoors and we have even had a couple very special walks with Paw Paw exploring nature.
Being innovative when she couldn't find her bucket :)
Climbing
Lots of fun with chalk ... and if you notice ... she is drawing a kitty ... we are going to be fostering an FIV + cat who loves kids in the next upcoming week or so and she is SUPER excited
Kennedy
Also some dance pictures from the past few weeks ...
learning balance
proper stretching
proper turning
Partnered with an experienced young dancer, Belle
perfecting jumps
I would say the most valuable thing Glory learned over spring break was not giving up !!
she has been trying to master this thing all spring break ...
"I FINALLY DID IT !!!!!"
Such a great couple weeks ... some pics taken by her friends
