Our year 2022 - Glory age 11

 Spring 2022

The garden isn't the only thing growing this spring. Glory has been through so much...surgery, multiple bad doctor experiences, the struggle to obtain decent mental health support for PANS (notice the hand writing difference off and on antibiotics pictured below), but this kid keeps on trucking and learning and winning at life despite everything stacked up against xer...Glory is excited to finally get a therapist who specializes in PANS in a couple weeks at the end of June. We celebrated John's birthday, enjoyed baseball, trips to the park trails, a weekly online science class through family success center, new chickens, new fosters coming and going, and a new puppy and kitten. Glory walked 20 miles in June for Erica's lighthouse fundraiser for teens with depression and is more than half way through 51 miles in june for The Trevor Project for LGBTQ youth.  Glory also graduated 5th grade with all A's and one B. 

































































































































Winter 2022

It was a winter full of struggle. We are very thankful to our friends who also deal with PANS ...Glory had a bad immune system trigger to the COVID vaccine and had a bunch of symptoms return along with some new ones like Intrusive thoughts. Glory is amazing in xer ability to handle things that would bring most adults to their knees. We are doing our best to enjoy our winter with plenty of activities like online museum dino classes, and science classes through the local family success center. Glory was also welcomed into the Pans/Pandas ambassador's program!  We helped a friend with a litter of rat babies! and as always Glory works tirelessly at xer art and book writing.
