Egg update

Sadly the eggs didn't hatch. They likely got too cold mixed with the fact that the parents were not on the right food when they came into the rescue.  Although sad it was an amazing opportunity to learn about the development inside the eggs when it came time to bury them Glory was curious to open them up.

We had fun over the weekend with Daddy watching the series Egypt and learning all about how hieroglyphs were first figured out and the whole story behind it.  And then today we tried writing some of our own.  We prefer these over cuneiform!

Chess Club

.....and we are busy !!

we just got a clutch of Cockatiel eggs to foster and hatch from the rescue ...

with research we were able to improve our tools and even do conduct an egg surgery (aka dent sealing) and improve the conditions to where now the two eggs we thought were duds are moving when when candle them) 

She even chose a book to read to them  :)

Glory's zipper broke on her favorite Jacket and when I went to throw it out she insisted on me teaching her to sew so she could fix it  :)
